CAD Technologist

We are seeking a CAD Technologist with proven experience in SolidWorks. The CAD Technologist is responsible for understanding codes and regulations relevant to the products Skyline Group sells, designing custom product configurations where required, and producing all product drawings. A qualified candidate will have: The ability to understand structural engineering and research codes and regulations. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Director of Engineering

We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our engineering department. The right candidate will be confident leading teams ensuring that all members work effectively towards meeting corporate goals and provide expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives that are aligned with business needs and benefit the company. This includes driving innovation, optimizing resources, and ensuring the delivery of quality products or services to our customers. Our ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering principles, practices, codes, and regulations, as well as strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to take the company to the next level in our evolution.

Sales Representative - Ontario

We are seeking an established Sales Representative to focus on selling rooftop safety solutions for the area of Guelph to Niagara to Windsor in Ontario. This is a full-time in office position with expected travel to be around 30 percent. Our ideal candidate will not only be a fit with our corporate culture and values but be will also be an enthusiastic self-starter with strong selling experience, including: Experience selling in a B2B environment. Demonstrated successes and achievements related to quotas, cold calls, developing opportunities, and other sales metrics. Understanding of the construction industry, regulations, and processes. Knowledge of building codes, safety standards and regulations.

Sales Representative - West

We are seeking an established Sales Representative to focus on selling rooftop safety solutions in the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. This is a full-time in office position with expected travel to be around 30 percent. Our ideal candidate will not only be a fit with our corporate culture and values but be will also be an enthusiastic self-starter with strong selling experience, including: Experience selling in a B2B environment. Demonstrated successes and achievements related to quotas, cold calls, developing opportunities, and other sales metrics. Understanding of the construction industry, regulations, and processes. Knowledge of building codes, safety standards and regulations.

THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Skyline Group’s recruitment process is something that we have refined over the years to include multiple steps that allow candidates to meet with multiple members of our team and give them the opportunity to ask questions and ensure a good fit.

We review applications, screening for a variety of criteria.

Candidates will receive an email with a link to schedule an introductory video call. This will allow Human Resources the opportunity to assess interest in the role and give candidates a brief overview of the position and of Skyline Group. 

An interview is conducted with Human Resources & the Hiring Manager, this may be done in-person or via video and will be a more in-depth interview on work experience and give a more detailed overview of the day to day of the role.
Candidates will receive an email with a link to complete a survey. The results will be automatically sent to the Hiring Manger & Human Resources for review.

Candidates will meet with Human Resources & additional team members in -person at one of our offices. This will give other team members the chance to meet the candidate and ask any follow-up questions. It will also allow the candidate the opportunity to ask any final questions.

Human Resources will call with a verbal offer that will be followed up with an email.
