CAD Technologist (Perth, ON & Montreal, QC)

We are looking for a CAD Technologist with proven experience in SolidWorks. The CAD Technologist is responsible for understanding codes and regulations relevant to the products Skyline Group sells, designing custom product configurations where required, and drawing all product approval drawings. A qualified candidate should understand structural engineering and have the ability to research codes and regulations. Experience and training in SolidWorks software, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Territory Sales Representative (Montreal, QC)

The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining good client relations, meeting the set territory target, and developing new business relationships and sales within the assigned territory. A qualified candidate should be self-motivated and have a keen attention to detail, and understanding of construction industry and processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven sales track record. This position will be based out of the Baie-D'Urfé office.

We are seeking a Structural & Compliance Engineer to focus on ensuring designs are code compliant and structurally sound for the application, and to manage and conduct Roof Hazard Reviews .

We are seeking a Custom Design & R&D candidate to focus on developing new products that move the company forward, and to come up with creative and compliant solutions for custom projects.

THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Skyline Group’s recruitment process is something that we have refined over the years to include multiple steps allowing candidates to meet with multiple members of our team and the opportunity to ask questions and ensure a good fit.

1. Review

We review applications, screening for a variety of criteria.

2. Introductory Call

Candidates will receive an email with a link to schedule an introductory video call. This will allow recruiters the opportunity to assess interest in the role and give candidates a brief overview of the role and company.

3. Interview

An interview is conducted with Human Resources & the Hiring Manager, this may be done in-person or via video and will be a more in-depth interview on work experience and give a more detailed overview of the day to day of the role.

4. Talent Analytics Survey

Candidates will receive an email with a link to complete a survey. The results will be automatically sent to the Hiring Manger & Human Resources for review.

5. Final Interview – In-Person

Candidates will meet with Human Resources & additional team members, giving other members of the team the chance to meet the candidate and ask any follow-up questions and for candidates to ask any final questions.

6. Offer

Human Resources will call with a verbal offer that will be followed up with an email.
